Jan Lindenberger resides in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The book leaves me with more questions then answered. Many pictures have a description but no maker or manufacturer. Does give a wide view of the different astrays available, I just needed more info for my own reference needs.

As someone who is just starting out as an ashtray collector, I found this book to be very helpful and easy to use. Lindenberger makes a lovely presentation in that she uses excellent photographs to demonstrate examples of various types of ashtrays. Written information is limited but still quite informative. The photo quality is quite good and the suggested price guide makes collecting easy and fun. I keep this book handy for quick review after my Saturday morning yard sale attack.

Basically ALL California USA vintage ashtrays. NO akros, or other REAL collectable ashtrays. If you are interested in variety you'll find much more info online.
